Mythological Connection :-
The *Skanda Purana* narrates the story of King Dasharatha, who performed the *Putrakameshti Yagna* under the guidance of Sage Rishyashringa to be blessed with sons, resulting in the birth of Lord Rama and his brothers. Similarly, the performance of Santan Prapti Puja is believed to yield favorable results for childless couples.
